In a consultation you will receive:

Pulse

Time: to explain your health concerns and healing goals

Assessment: of your unique constitution from birth, and your current imbalances based on traditional Ayurvedic methods such as pulse and tongue diagnosis

Nutrition and Dietary plan: focusing mainly on your relationship to food and eating, and also including suggestions for foods and herbs that balance and nourish you as well foods to avoid, recipes, information on food preparation, and garden cultivation practices for foods and medicine

Yoga postures: We will design and tailor a short program for you based on your needs to re-energize, open, and strengthen your body

Breathing techniques (Pranayama): Breathing cultivates life force, or prana in yogic terms.  Life force is sustenance, energy, and happiness.  Focusing on breathing soothes the nervous system, aids digestion and sleep, and cultivates awareness and acceptance of the present moment.

A follow-up, follow-ups help the practitioner and the client together determine what has helped and what hasn’t since the original consult.  It allows for adjustment in the current healing plan and any healing goals for the future.

Ayurvedic consultations require you as the client to take an active role in your healing process.  The more the client is involved, the better and more quickly you will see results.  Ayurveda is self-healing, and the practitioner is simply a guide on the path.

Everyone has a different process and different needs per healing. Treatment procedures vary according to the needs of each individual, however following are the general costs for consultations.

Consultations $120, including one free follow-up.

Additional follow-ups as needed are $45 per hr
